SheerWind's innovative 'Involex (for Increaced Velocity)' has patented design for the wind turbines that can generate wind energy six times more than that of the conventional and can remain operational at wind speed as low as 2 miles per hour ( 3.2 km/hr or .89 m/s).

While the average annual wind speed required for the conventional wind turbines (Horizontal axis) is 9 miles per hour ( 14.6 km/hr or 4 m/s). Isn't that interesting???
